I've seen it on a few tl's around here and it looks terrible. A-spec is the only good option for the tl. "Mugen style" lolz.

you have a link? its kind of hard to judge a lip without it being installed on the car itself and just about everybody has an aspec.

As a matter of fact I do. Did a search for: ebay front lip. It was the first thread.

The home depot lip looks good when it's on the type-s a-spec lip IMO.

I wouldn't mind seeing a couple good pictures of this lip on a 3G tl. If it looks good I wouldn't mind getting it. Everyone has the A-Spec lip so its getting old, but it still looks good.

Aspec is not "getting old", if u can't afford $700 for the kit, then just say so! Just save the money, besides u REaLLy think the average Joe on the street is gonna b like " HOLY SHyT Susan! that's not an aspec lip kit on that 258 HP Acura TL, that's something completely different! I can tell becuz it has slighty different curves! Wow that really stands out from the crowd!"

+1, theres actually a company that can fabricate CF for our TL's. There is a user in Azine that has his WHOLE engine bay CF'd, looks ok, maybe if he just did the engine cover, but he went kinda overboard and did the whole engine bay. but I've seen some people wth parts of the lip with CF, I'm not sure if it was Di Noc CF, but it looks good. Really expensive though, I think a CF engine cover alone is $300 shipped

No kidding! I like to lurk on m3post.com and the amount of lip (front/rear) options available for the e9x m3 is amazing. I want a cf add-on lip for my type-s aspec front and cf diffuser for the rear.

That bastard! It seems like a lot of the companies producing the parts for those cars are small companies that cater specifically to that crowd kinda like rv6 and atlp. So my question is, why don't we have any vendors offering these kinds of parts?!

it's the people who buy the cars that effect the vendors. most ppl that buy the TL's are old timers, but as time goes by more of the younger tuner crowds will be able to afford the TL's. then you'll see more of a spark, most of the Bimmer mods are for the older bimmers right? or atleast the bimmers that are affordable right? plus, Bimmers are always in high demand and ofcourse there would be more options for Bimmers just cuz itz a bimmer

There is a ton of options for the e9x (current body style) m3 but, you're right, its because an m3 is a bmw and a tl is an acura. But if we had some cf front and rear diffuser add-ons for the a-spec I would be down.

Find me a donor Type-S A-Spec and base A-Spec and I can get a rear diffuser project started.
I have the design drawn and a reputable company that I can work with.
I'd get it working on my own car but I don't have a rear-a-spec.

I have ideas for a front splitter-base-A-Spec ad-on as well. I have one mocked up sitting at home [right now it is part poly-urethane part-fiberglass]. Splitter was originally from a S2000.

Lastly, KB1Spec sells CF-Base-A-Spec-Ad-Ons. It is an overlay and essentially eliminates the gap. Check out pictures of Rockyfeller's car or KB1Spec's old TL.

Awesome! Would you be ok with sharing pics? I know you may not be cool with this cause somebody could steal your design!!
