E-Class Benz owner jealous of my TL??
Had an interesting last evening. Met with my financial advisor and offered to drive to dinner. He gets one look of my 05 Red/Ebony/6sp/Navi TL and he can't stop talking about it. "I've wanted to see one of these. I've heard so many good things about them. That's a gorgeous color" This coming from someone driving a late model E-class Benz (sorry I didn't see the exact model but looked full size)
So we get into the car and he thought the car ran about $42k. Was shocked when I told him 36K out the door. Then he sees the 6 spd and was impressed that the car offered one. His previous car was a 5 speed beemer. Seemed to really enjoy the sporty feel of the car.
After dinner walking back to the car again complements the color and how rich it looks on the car. Regretted that Mercedes didn't offer a similar color when he leased his car.
On the ride back he finds out about the XM radio and says his Benz did not offer that and also says his Benz does not have a Navi either.
Needless to say he was very impressed with the TL and had nothing but praise for the whole package.
Thought you guys might like to hear about his opinion and impressions.

Acura has been equipping their cars now for 6 years.. You should tell all these people that maybe they should be in the real world. I guess they are too busy making money to be bothered with spending it on cars...
