I have a 2004 TL 6MT Sport w/ navi, I want to get the front and rear a spec lips. Anybody have any experience with the knock off ebay ones? 700 is the cheapest I can get true oem, my paint code is not available so they would have to be painted either way. eBay lips have long been avoided by most because honestly.... they're trash. Did you look at the seller's own description? It's made of fiberglass, unlike OEM which is made of plastic. Fitment will not be what you're looking for (ie, terrible). It also doesn't come with hardware and would have to be custom mounted. Also comes from Canada and will need customs clearance.

I would save up for the real deal, as you will most likely not be happy with the outcome of this. I've never seen anyone satisfied with non-OEM lips.

Keep an eye out for some 2nd hand OEM lips for sale. They still fetch a decent amount. But if Acura doesn't have your color/trim, then buy a used one if possible and have those repainted. They pop up from time to time on the market and I've seen some from local online classifieds

 

I had gone through this Ebay replica lip crap way back in the day, They always has a filament issue E.G either too short or too long. I would spend the $700 for an oem kit and repaint it to get color match.
