DVD-A Creation
By any chance has anyone used 'Audio DVD Creator' for making DVD-A's? Their site is: http://www.audio-dvd-creator.com/index.htm
It's free for 14 days and it cheap to purchase. The fact that's it's so cheap causes me to question how good it really is (sad, isn't it?).
I'm in the process of trying to get aquire a DVD burner at the moment.. hoping to get work to anty up the money.

It doesn't write DVD-A discs - so it won't work in the TL
From that website:
Please note: Audio DVD should not be confused with DVD-Audio, for which you need a special player and discs!
Features:
Put several (about 5-6) Audio CDs on one DVD with perfect audio quality.
Put thousands of MP3 files on one DVD.
Burn the Audio DVD to DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW.
Export the Audio DVD to hard disk folder.
Output format is DVD-Video compliant, so that it can be played by any DVD player.
Rip Audio CD to WAV files, and import them to Audio DVD directly.
Preview shows an overview of your audio DVD.

What would you use as a source for creating DVD-A? A CD? A tape? You know that DVD-A has a sampling rate of 192KHZ? With 44KHZ for CDs?
Unless you buy DVD-A that's been mastered from VERY high quality sources and properly mixed for 5.1 channels, it's pointless to create DVD-A audio at home.

Agreed. I wish the TL work support MP3 CD's (and as a result display 'folder names' and 'song title <filename>' on the NAVI screen. But since it doesn't, DVD-A is the next best thing.
Personally, if it came between DVD-A or MP3 support, I would have choosen MP3 in a heart beat. Now I'm stuck cutting DVD-A and remembering that track 82 may be the song I want to hear.
* and no, I'm not saying the quality of MP3 is better than DVD-A. it's not. I'm only saying that it's a feature I would have used about 10000000 times more. It's just me.

I would have taken MP3 too, but it's nice to see Acura push the technology envelope with DVD-A and Bluetooth.
Now, why they decided to put a CASSETTE PLAYER in there is another matter. I guess they still make books on... um, what's it called? Oh yeah. Tape.
