i've read about varying success. It'll color the chip but filling it is another story. You'll still see the chip surface unless you either layer it several times or use a different kit that's designed for layering and sanding.

For all of the micro chips, you know...the galaxy look...that method works just fine. I've done the same thing before with regular Honda touchup. I used a squeegee to level it all out. Let it dry. Then took some compound to it. Worked great! It's a lot of work though.

For big chips however you will have to add, dry, add, dry, to build it up to the surface like ez12a said. I prefer to use these when doing that...

Here is my review on Dr. Colorchip I did for my last car. I'm thinking about ordering it again for my TL one of these days.

Looks good but is it really that expensive ? Exactly how much does it take care of? The site says 1 dozen chips ?

^^ be aware that you're essentially f'd if you have a pearl paint.....its never going to match (I have tried many times) since you have two stages to color in the chip

I just ordered one for my 325 and TSX. I was pretty happy with the results the first time I used it on my TBSS which is a non-metallic black. It was really simple to use though. Good product.

This won't work for me. I have too many chips on my bumper and hood. But it looks effective.
