door handle cap

hey pees i cant seem to find a thread to this my passanger back door cap on the handle broke off n i got the new one but cant seem to figure outhot to instal it has this happen to any one ?

pops right on...gently pop the cap off the metal piece that comes with it ( all you need is the cap ) then replace onto existing metal piece on door

just a suggestion, order two.
They are very cheap and if you lose another you are gonna pay more to have it shipped then the part actually costs so spending an extra $9 may save you shipping later

oh yea and as others have mentioned, they just pop on, you dont need the metal piece it comes with

If you do the shaved keyhole mod, forget about using your valet key. I forgot about this one day at the beach and had to pry my cap off to get to the keyhole! DOH!

^^ I do, but the purpose was to reduce the amount of stuff carried to the beach. I learned and put away my valet key. I never let valets park my car anyway.

i know this is sort of off topic but could the left rear cap be used for the left front door to cover the key hole? i checked the part numbers there different but i am assuming cuz they are diff. thank
