Does factory warranty cover keyless remotes?

Does the factory warranty cover keyless remotes? My remote, like ALL Honda/Acura remotes has the ring portion broken off. Any ideas?

Just playing devil's advocate, but where in the Acura warranty disclaimer does it list an exclusion for "hand held" items? I remember seeing exclusions for wear items like tires and brakes, but not for "hand held" items...

If the RFID chip goes bad in the key, that is covered under warranty, (had it done before). The key is a "hand held" item....

It should, it's part of the car when purchased. I'd like to know what Acura says.

well, it depends, does the remote still function? If not then it will be repplaceed, but f the key ring holder breaks off, i doubt it.
