Does anyone have a spare flywheel they could measure?
Hi, long time lurker, first time poster.
Does anyone have a spare flywheel they could measure? I need the dimension from the surface the pressure plate mounts to down to the surface the friction plate presses on.
Long story short, I am doing my clutch, I have owned the car for about a year and have no idea when the clutch was last done. After taking it all apart I can see the last clutch job was poorly done, the friction disk was replaced, but not the pressure plate or throw out bearing. Which is why I am doing this by the way... the throw out was making a horrible noise. Anyway, the flywheel looks new but seeing this was a poorly done job, I am little worried the flywheel might have been turned instead of replaced. If it was turned I know it was turned incorrectly because I can see Honda and the PN on the surface where the pressure plate mounts.
Thanks for the help.

I'd seriously consider replacing the flywheel after a previously sloppy clutch job. You don't know if they somehow f**ked it up too. Rockauto has the LUK flywheel for $209 as well as the clutch kit for $172.

Hi DMZ, thanks for the response.
I do plan on replacing it if I can't figure out what the status is of the current one. Not worth saving a couple hundred to have to take it all back apart and replace in the near future.
Thanks!
