I saw some posts saying that the navi cars will give you the full advantage of the blue-tooth techology etc. How is that the case?

The Navi cars have a more extensive voice command set (not related to the Bluetooth HandsFreeLink feature), and there is some integration between Nav and the phone - for example, you can tell the Nav to find the nearest Chinese Food place (which it may or may not be; depends on how well your area is mapped in the Navi database), and then ask it to dial the number.
