i'd say i drive assertively and intelligently. i try to avoid aggressive, though sometimes, you can't avoid it when you're driving behind people that think the speed limit is 5 below what is posted or they are messing with stuff in their car (ie texting, email, phone glued to ear, eating, makeup, shaving, brushing teeth (yes i saw this one recently), writing etc) . most of the time smooth and easy and rarely kicking in the vtec.
there's just too much traffic (and cops with nothing better to do) around here to drive as spirited as i would like, but when the opportunity arises...i do like to have my fun (freeway on ramps, cloverleafs, twisty off ramps).

I use to drive aggressive with a heavy foot. Back then I would get 12 L/100km or 19 mpg on average. Now with the high gas prices, I have been driving "gentle" unless I'm going to be late for something then I'll drive fast, I would get 8 L/100km or 29 mpg

I drive what I would call intelligently. Just take in the big picture and not look 5 feet in front. Predicting flow and other driver's reactions is very easy. I drive about as easy as I can without hurting the flow of traffic. If it's an area where I know the lights stay green I'll go a few mph above the limit. There's two lights on the way home that I always catch the red. I'll accelerate up to the speed limit and then coast for about 10 seconds until the light turns red as it always does. Around town, people mostly go 10-20mph UNDER the speed limit. I was frustrated the other day so I made a few lane changes and got out in front of the crowd not cutting anyone off and not breaking the speed limit and some older lady said something about me speeding.
There's one spot where the lights are only separated by less than 500' and I've had people honk when I take it up to 25mph and then coast to the next red light. It seriously only takes a few seconds before you have to hit the brakes again yet some people floor it and the slam on the brakes a second later and I see them to the same thing day after day. It's like they just don't learn.
I'll have fun from time to time but 95% of the time I drive it very easy. When I drive hard, I probably drive harder than most. If the conditions are right (nothing to hit) I'll go a little sideways. Mostly my hard driving is saved for dumb people. The TL has to last, it's my daily driver and it turned 100,000 miles on Monday. I don't mind messing around once in a while but a lifetime of beating on the car will eventually catch up to you. Besides, that's what my other car is for. I drive it responsibly but it's at 50% or greater throttle all the time, it's completely addictive. I try to just cruise but I just can't control myself and I every single time I take it out I have strangers telling me to floor it.

Since I got the TL I've become a little more aggressive. The last time I went a little schizo, I was weaving in and out of traffic when the traffic in the lane I was turning into stopped-I stopped and got rear ended by a car in the lane I was coming from. I don't go schizo no mo

I guess I'd say i drive gently.
I do the speed limit, and to get to that limit I take my time. People pass me all the time (i'm in the slow lane). 4.50 something gas is something I dont want to waste getting up to speed quickly.
Driving gently also gives you time to really concentrate on making shifts smoother.

I would definitely classify myself as gentle, even with 6MT. Except, as already mentioned... those straight on-ramps in going from 30-70 MPH in 3rd gear WOT. Smile-generator every time.

I drive 1.21 jiggawatts... I would love to start an offensive driving school for people who want to drive aggresive but also use their heads. I like to put the dumb drivers behind me. Knock on wood, I've only been in one accident that wasn't my fault coming back from Athens.
