Does anyone agree about the 4G TL?

I skipped my stupid math class today and stopped by Metro Acura in Montclair, or Claremont, I don't know which. Anyways, I sat in a 2012 TL (they didn't have any AWD's and they kept trying to sell me a TSX) and I was NOT impressed.

I've driven an 09 before, and while it was quick, and refined, and precise, it just feels all wrong. It doesn't have the fun factor or something, it feels like a car built for retired people. Plus, it just doesn't look half as good, inside or out.

What do you guys think?

^no, you're fine. it's just that this topic has been discussed ad nauseam, which signifies that the topic in question has been discussed extensively, and that those involved in the discussion have grown tired of it.

But yeah the 4G is a downgrade from the 3G imo. I'm hoping the 5G or "TLX" brings back the Type-S/3G platform and looks.

i'd only consider a '12 TL if it had SH-AWD. and at least they got rid of that awful beak and put in something a bit more subtle. but i'm probably not going to be in the market for a new car for a while since i acquired my type s 3 months ago. but if i ever needed an suv, i'd probably get a MDX

We've debated this a lot.

Personally I like the 3G styling a lot more than the 4G, but I really love the performance and comfort of the 4G SH-AWD.

Me too! lol

And yes, every 4G I've seen is driven by people 80 years old lol, but they can have it, it's hideous.

This topic has been discussed a lot, but I still can't agree more with what you said above.

3G TL has some elements and spirit from Accord Type-R. But in 4G they lost these great elements and spirit.
