Do you acknowledge other

TL-s Drivers?? For instance most - all motorcycle drivers wave to eachother on the streets. S2K drivers too..

G35 drivers used too when it first came out not anymore.. Do you wave honk w.e at your fellow Tl-s's?

Not really. People on bikes respect other bikers. Cagers, not so much.

I've found fellow TL people to be an unfriendly bunch. My typical experience seems to be a jerk who has to stay in front of me no matter what and watches me in the mirrors but if I happen to get beside them they don't acknowlege I'm there.

If I'm driving my other car and happen to see another one, we're pulling over and chatting although I've only passed another one twice in the 13 years I've owned it.

I see quite a few older folks here in the bay area & thus they tend to stay focused on the road rather than other TLs around them. I always nod to them if they can notice ... mutual admiration is the best .. LOL

yeah - the only time I'll honk is when they have a lot of work done to it and/or I'm giving props for their mods

USUALLY, as this was talked about in the other thread, here on Long Island, most TL drivers are 40+ and are pissed off / have a FRAZZLED look on their face when they see a 27yr old brown kid driving the car that they drive that also btw, looks better than theirs.

I'm sure they can't sleep at night because a "brown kid" was driving a TL...

I only wave or honk at other '07 TL-S drivers, since they are still pretty rare in Houston. I only see one about every three days.

I just got mine on Friday and am noticing that there aren't many tl s' around Buffalo. I almost bought a v6 accord w/manual which would have offered alot more waving opportunities. I am glad I dug deeper in my pocket and got the better car. The one tl that I have seen only coolly acknowledged my wave. I don't think it's that kind of car particularly if it is stock.

In L.A, TL's are almost as common as Accords or any other car that everyone and their moms have.

I have only seen a couple TL-S around and they are all owned by olders men who can't appreciate true beauty... and personally they look stuck up, maybe they should have chosen a bimmer instead? I have noticed more feedback from the 2nd gen owners which is fine by me, even though mine is an 07 some of their rides are really hooked up and they deserve the props too.

No! No! Anasi I didn't mean to offend you, or anyone else for that matter. I'm just saying of the few TL type S that I have seen driving around, they are much older men (I would say 45-50) and I'll look over at them to acknowledge their car (even though they are stock, it's still gorgeous) and they just turn their head and don't look. I have actually had this one guy in bronze tl-s cut me off on more than one occasion for no reason.. I was just trying to say the few I have seen on the just don't seem to have any respect for younger owners and/or modifictions. Maybe it's just anger of the fact when they were my age they didn't have as good of a job or were as stable to afford such a nice automobile. Now that I'm thinking about this, I have only seen the Type-S around Priceton and some people from that area (not all, so anyone from princeton please don't be offended) just simply think they are gods gift and look down on the rest of the world.

I didn't mean for it to seem like I was attacking the older generation so for that I apologize! Can you find it in your heart to forgive me? Pretty Please? lol

Well, I'm relieved that you weren't referring to people like me. Hell, I won't be in the age bracket you were talking about for almost another month I was just messin with ya on that last post. Actually even though I guess I'm part of the older crowd now (that can't be right), I still notice the same thing you do. Most of the TL drivers I see around don't seem to even notice eachother and they are also a little more senior than I think I am. I did get a wave from one guy on the road once (another TL-S) but that was unusual.

Wow. I've only seen about three, besides mine, since they were released.

I've already commented on this topic and don't like repeating myself, so: https://acurazine.com/forums/technology-16/what-do-u-think-about-turning-computer-lcd-into-tv-164619/

I don't go out of my way to acknowledge other TL drivers, but what I do on the other hand is slow down so they can acknowledge me...then they can say to themselves "Hey! That's Darksom1 and Stella from AZ!"

Post whore...street whore...what's the diff?

I wave/nod to the other TL/TL-S drivers if they notice me; otherwise I will just drive along ... why bother when they don't see you (or pretend they didn't) ....
