Do all TL's Have this? How do i know?
hi guys,
i bought a CL but i will be selling it in february, but until then im doing some research on my next car, and 04/05 Acura TL now i read this article http://www.edmunds.com/reviews/list/...4/article.html and i just want to know that if every TL has that or only automatic or manual? and last question are the brembos from the 6 spd swappable? my main question is the article question if all the acuras have that or a specific tranny or year, thanks all help is appreciated.

If you are talking about the tire pressure system, only '06s and up have that. As far as the Brembos go, they are interchangeable - the A-Spec kit upgrades the AT model to Brembos.
If you are not talking about the TPMS, please specify as the article has a bunch of stuff in it.

Regardless of year, all '04-'06 TLs with the manual transmission came with the Brembo calipers. Auto transmission versions came with the single-piston calipers. They are not easily interchangeable as the hub designs are different, apparently. If you want the Brembos, you have to get a manual transmission, since you're looking at the '04-'05 ones.
But if you want auto and Brembos, then you can get the '07 Type-S. Those apparently come with the upgraded calipers.
