Hey guys i dont have any pics posted i do have pics though, Anyway in the midwest there was a bad tornado storm and at my work the store next to mine had lose carts that day.

And the severe wind blew 2 carts to my car door and left 3 dings and creases and one ding on the quarter panel. Do u guys think that i should file a claim with my insurance.

Do u guys think my insurance would go up?

The job is gonna cost me 1000 bucks to repair it and its gonna be a comprehensive claim with nationwide what do u guys think?

 

1000 dollars is your deductibe fee you have to pay with insurance?

 

Contact the store to see if they will cover repairs / your deductible. Also, it might be covered under property damage / uninsured driver coverage. If you say it was done by another car you might not have to pay the deductible, but in any case.. your insurance shouldn't go up because you were not at fault.

 

ive contacted the store corp. they denied it so i gotta go through my insurance and the damages is estimated $1000 for work my deductible is 500 but i have a deducctible reward so it isnt gonna cost me BUT,

im just worried if my insurance is going to go up or not. I'm wondering if i should do it if its just for dings and creases.

 

your insurance won't go up like it would for a ticket or accident... you will probably lose your "Claim Free Discount" -- at least that's what State Farm calls it when you don't file a claim for a while. Anyway, this discount is itemized on my statement... may check yours to see if you get something like that.

 

hmm sounds like a go to me i wonder how this affect my insurance in anyway anyone know?

YUP i even seen the 2 carts hit my car while i was working i run a barber shop so it was in my face we were like damn the weather is bad then u see 2 carts goin full speed to my car
