In a dilemma...sorta?

straight to the point...

girlfriend drives a 03 mustang v6 with 20k miles which is paid off so we can get a good amount for if we do a trade in. She really likes my TL and loves driving it. I was thinking about doing a trade in for the rsx type-s(2005-2006) with her mustang. Of course i would be driving the type-s and she will be driving the TL...what do you guys think?

both really nice cars, its kind of a downgrade but if you like the manual and race factor go for the RSX, but the tl is a very nice car. i came from a rsx. its not as luxurious or not at all if you ask me lol but its a fun car to drive. either one you pick would be a good choice depending on what you like, sports car or a more luxury car. but i picked the TL-S over a base RSX.

I would definately trade the stang in for the RSX T-S but would not trade cars with the girlfriend. Yes, the RSX is fun to drive, however, I will miss the lux features of the TL. Maybe you both can trade cars once or twice a week but keep the TL.

Keep the Mustang. It's paid off. Get a Type-S TL. That way the Mustang can be your project car and the TL-S can be your premium car. You'll still have two hot rides, but one will be paid off.

the thing is, we're not really TRADING but much more of a...daily driver for her and me...the mustang is a gas eater and its slow and the interior is crap. Im not gonna give her my TL completely as a trade but as a DD thing... i still miss the thrill of driving a manual car but i will still be able to drive the TL, get my drift? =]

And believe me when i say the mustang is crap esp the v6, its just a terrible gas eating car and its CRAP haha sorry for you stang owners but thats just how i feel towards that car ...

Also my girlfriend stays with me and both cars will be here in the garages. So how i see it is...we're like a married couple but just not MARRIED. So if she gets the S and we keep the TL then it will be like..OUR cars, get it? i just want to ditch the mustang because i hate looking at that car >.<

Oh also forgot to add, if we do a trade in with the stang for the type-s, we'll also pay it off.
