I just got my TL 3 days ago, and haven heard about a bunch of people talking about the theft of the HID lights. I was wondering what kind of alarms did u guys install, if any, and how does it work. I know the factory key fob has lots of features integrated w/ it, so I don't know how the memory seats, window and roof and all those works when u have another alarm installed. I've been told that you can get an basic unit w/ just hood sensor but not starter immobilizer. But haven't seen much of other reports or recommendations, so I'm curious on what other owners are doing with their car.

OK, HID protection: eventually, thieves would find the ways to steal them, however, this 3G TL's HID is much much harder to be removed or stolen than 2G's.
