i see 2 different ones over at hondacuraworld. Which one do i need for a 05 TL. i like the looks of the type-s spoiler since it fits around the trunk more.. Are these prices set in stone, or will Tim hook us up with a discount

Either one will fit. TL-S one looks better IMHO. If you contact Tim, he may set up a GB for you if you get enough people.

Those prices are good, as far as which one would look better then ggesq said it right the TL-S one is a tad beefier and would look much better. Just realize this that it might not be available in your color and you would have to get it painted. The normal deck lid spoiler is an accessory so it comes with all the instruction/templates and also the installation hardware where as the TL-S deck lid spoiler is part of the body i.e it comes on the car from factory hence its categorized as a body part rather than accessory. What this means is that you would have to purchase the hardware for the Type S spoiler which would cost $10 or so, another major difference between the two is that you would need to drill 2 holes for the deck lid spoiler install and 6 for the type S deck lid spoiler install. What ever you do just do not use double sided tape to install either since it will give up on you in a few weeks.

orrr you could go to thespoilerstore on ebay and get the decklid for $114 total (painted and shipped), and it has 3m double sided sticky tape so u dont have to drill holes.

I know its been a while but does someone know the best deal on the type s deck lid spoiler now? Its crazy high now and not worth paying that much for it.

Alot of people have tried to get the type-s spoiler, but the only place you can get one is from the dealer. There are no replica ones that anyone has found.
