decent inexpensive mod: chrome strip for door handles
so I ordered these door chrome strips off ebay for 10 dollars. Based on looking at the pictures online, it seemed alright but as I put it on and saw it in person, it really made a significant difference and really enhance the look of the TL. I would greatly recommend this enhancement mod, esp. on the 07 NBP tl since it complements the chrome strips on the headlights and also the strips on the lower grill....It makes the car stand out more and looks as luxurious as a mercedes...its best if you see it in person instead of pictures, but here's an example:
*the strips fit in the recessed dips on the handle....

A couple people have done this. I believe its just chrome door edgeguard you can get at autozone + some 3m tape or something like that. Personally i dont like wdp + chrome. If you like that, you can put that door edgeguard stuff on your lower grill as well.

I've done this myself, both on the lower front grille as above, as well as on the door handles. This is an inexpensive mod lending a more upscale look. I agree that this works better for some colors than others. Personally I think it looks great on my Anthracite.
For those who did it... were you happy with your lower grille installation? Maybe I'm just being a perfectionist but I'm wondering if I could have installed it better (as in... EXACTLY straight?)... how did you do it? By feel / look?
