Dead battery and Trunk popping

Dead battery and Trunk popping
So i'm thinking of getting my battery relocated to the trunk like i've seen a couple others do. however, the other day i went to start my car, and the battery was slammed dead. so i was trying to get into the trunk for my jumper cables... well i was a bit befuddled because i couldn't figure out how to get the trunk open without power to the trunk popper!
so i guess i'm looking for two things.
1) how do u open the trunk manually?
2) anyone with a relocated battery have any tips on what i should do to be able to get to the battery easily?
P.S. My new clutch is going in this monday!!!

pull the release, its under the rear deck right where the ski-pass through is, open the pass through and you'll see the handle. Check the manual!

if you autocross race the car, then moving weight back does help
For the rest of us????
Requires super heavy duty cables and bigger battery
Surely there is a DIY or threads if you search
That emergency latch inside the truck is called the child safety- so they can escape if locked in truck- its a simple T handle -pull and it opens trunk
