Dead battery

This morning my 2004 TL had a dead battery and had to be jump started. Has anyone else had this problem? What was the reason?

I last drove it 3 days ago. I could not find anything electrical that had been left on.

First day I brought my TL home - I sat in garage like a little kid pushing buttons, loading up the CD's, setting the seat etc. Maybe I was out there for an hour, 2 max with the key in the ON position - not accessory, but on position. I went out later to take car out - battery completely croaked. I had to call the TLC hotline to get a guy to come jump it. Day 1. Was I P.O.'d. I think my salesman ear is still bleeding - I went off. They said it may have been dead on the lot and I live so close to dealer that not enough time to fully charge. The guy who came to jump it said he worked many years at dealer and the guys detailing your car crank up the radio without engine running etc. PLUS, when I got in my car at the dealer and we started it (no Prob) the heated seat was on - which I think the manual said will kill a battery quick...so the short of it is, it has been fine since - pretty crappy 1st day - how embarassing. :banghead:
