I would paint the bezel to color match your car and lightly tint the diffuser and turn signal with KBP just like NazTLs.

is the picture of tailights iphone 030 are all the parts painted black even the bezel?

i'm thinking about making my type-s tailights just like that except i want to leave the bezel stock and all the red parts black.

I agree, but all that matters is if you like it. I really love those tail lights, damn, looks better than I thought.

Red, I got yours today and I opened them, cleaned and glued. Still need to seal them 2 times (One more than usual). I should have them back on the road by monday.

They are custom made. Type S bezel with clear internals and smoke on the turn signal and reflector.

These are some sweet custom tail lights. I'm thinking about ordering something for my SSM 04 TL with A-Spec kit. Is it fairly easy to swap them out? I'm sure there is a DIY thread somewhere can anyone point me in the direction of that thread or send me a link?

It is easy to do. You would have to drop the bumper which there are three screws on the wheel well and two into the bumper, which are covered by plastic pieces on the trim when you open the trunk. There are a lot of DIY, but its more about an hour work of work rather than it being tough.
