Custom Shift Boots
Wanted to find out if anyone would be interest in me making a Carbon Fiber or Carbon/Kevlar boot for there cars. I currently make them for a variety of other cars, and didn't know if anyone here would be interested in them for the TL's. I know there are not near as many 6sp TL's on the road as there are some of the other cars I make boots for, but I thought I would check and see if anyone would be interested in this.
The boots are 100% real carbon fiber. This is the one I had installed in my Prelude when I had it.
I also offer in a Red and Black carbon kevlar. If I can get some more Blue and Black kevlar, I will have those.
If you will take the poll and let me know what you think, if you do I will go ahead and order a boot from Honda to make it off of.

Aaaarrrggghhhh!
Looks like you do good work and your idea is interesting but I would never put a CF shift boot in my TL.
Maye if it was an old civic or Integra, but I think it would make the TL interior look cheesy. I actually like the boot that came with my TL.
Now, if you were selling some sort of well designed shift knob, that would be different.

I would think demand would be very low because potential buyers will when they see it.
Sorry, I'm sure you do quality work. That just looks like rice to the power of 3.

For those with the gray or black interior with the CF trim, the CF boot would not look ricey. Now if you put it in the Camel interior, yes it would look bad, but personally, I would never buy a light color because it makes me want to . My

I agree with KilroyR1, unless you have pictures of custom made in red color.
Do you custom make them for zo6 vettes? I'm fairly interested...
