Now i remember seeing this guys ad about a month ago for 3000, then 2500, ect to now 1500. I looked at the pic and noticed the smaller battery needed is not included. But i'm a SC noob and need to know if anything else is missing. He claims it has 800 miles on it, this statment alone to me throws a red flag. Thanks.

If he was closer i would have already gone. He's a good 85 miles from me, so i want to be sure that the parts in the photo are at least majority of the parts thats included in the kit. i already know the battery is missing, but all the other misc. parts im not 100% sure.

 

hes pretty close to me, Im in riverside. I saw this ad couple days ago and was definitely surprised by the price. condition looks clean in the picture but you never know until you see it in person i guess

 

There are a lot of pieces missing, but they can be bought for pretty cheap. I can post a pic of a complete kit to give an idea of what exactly is missing.

 

From what I can see, ac line hold down..battery tray. Fuel pressure regulator. Alternator bracket, (most important) Bolts n nuts maybe. Good deal but blower might be bad..check it out. I contact him, seem legit

the craiglist sale is missing a lot of parts. trust me. ALOT. why do you think its so cheap? AND WHERE IS THE EXTENDED BOLTS FOR THE THROTTLE BODY REPLACEMENT INLET?. DO IT BUT DONT IF YOUR ON A BUDGET. look to spend an extra 1400dollars.

Well, he told me he sold his car. Also states the SC only has 800 miles. Only thing i can think of is he blew his motor somehow and is dumping everything. Ill know when i go see it this weekend. Kinda strange though how its missing so many parts. I'm starting to think its hot, but who knows.

 

Well, see the thing is. He posted it about a month ago for 3k and has declined to the now 1500 asking price. So who knows what his deal is. i just figured, if it was missing like 1k in parts like i originally thought. Would be an awesome time to add some more ponies for a killer price.

After searching around more i found that CT superchargers have a comptech sport stamp where the throttle body attaches. This one in the ad is missing that. Any logical reasoning behind this? did comptech stop stamping their superchargers at some time?

 

My blower never came with that stamp either. My kit was brand new as well originally purchased from Excelerate performance.

 

I saw this ad too. To me this sounds too sketchy. The way the price dropped down in such a short time, the pics, and the reason for selling and the fact that it only has 800 miles on it but is somehow missing pieces just amazes me. Id watch out

 

Ill buy it for 1k. Get it ported and rebuild FTW
