cracked leather, acura will fix
my drivers side leather was looking like crap after 2k miles (creases/lines). leather usually looks like this @ 30,000-40000. if you're having this problem, your dealer should be willing to replace.
(i know others had this complaint...)

If you get it replaced, won't it just suffer the same fate over and over again? I don't think Acura has done anything to "improve" the durability of the leather.

well, does your drivers side leather look like crap?
my passenger side still looks good (granted, not as much use but it looks like it is wearing better already.) and what really convinced me is that in a TSX the leather looked new at 5,000 miles, so i figured that i got a bad sample.
also, not everyone seemed to be experiencing the same problems.

Do any of yall have actual cracks? I do, like cracks between the perfeations. Its like a slit. Its right where my wallet usually is in my back pocket. I dont know if that caused it or not, but I was wonderin if yall had that problem too?

sorry, my post wasn't that clear. i did complain about this to the DEALER, and the dealer is ordering new leather to replace. if you're having the same problem your dealer should do the same for you because acura must be willing to cover it.

On delivery, my dealer told me the leather was not covered and tried to sell me a leather warranty for $300. I passed, I figured they would only cover perforations not normal wear and tear like wrinkles - As I've said before, seats are for sitting in not looking at.

the more you sit in it the more the leather stretches and becomes smoother. My driver side is stretched and soft while my passenger feels a little rought but still in good conditon.. I had complained but like somebody said if you get a new seat the same will happen.. Use leather treatment twice a month

Leather is something people love and hate. It does get wrinkles and creases, and to some, that makes it beautifull and reminds them that they have leather and not vinyl. I love leather, but I'm not crazy about the creases either, but you just have to accept it with leather, unless you get real thick (and uncomfortable) leather like the old Legend and Mercedes cars have. Personally, I like the glove soft leather, and find it very comfortable, but have to accept that it's going to crease and wrinkle. I have leather furniture in my home, and it does the same thing. As for the dirt, with light color leather, dye from clothing does rub off. On my recliner at home, I have a lot of blue coloration rubbing off my jeans. I've tried cleaning it, but it's there for good. That's the reason I got the ebony interior color because it doesn't stain as easily as parchment or camel. They are great colors, but pick up dye from clothing real easy and there isn't much you can do about it except cleaning frequently before the dye "sets"

I began seeing some large wrinkles in my driver's side (2k miles) and applied Lexol conditioner - dealer had some. Now the wrinkles seem to have faded. I'd recommend checking it out.
