CPO Acura TL 7yr/100k Mile Warranty

So I'm looking at an 06 tl that's a CPO vehicle. Does the dealer charge an addition fee per month for the warranty? Because that's what they are offering me. I thought the warranty already comes with the car? It's an additional 35 dollars a month for the warranty if I wanted it. Can someone clarify for me? I'm looking to get this car soon. Thanks!

The car is already a CPO, there shouldn't be any monthly charge for it.

Now if you are buying an extended warranty after the CPO expires, then yes you have to pay for it.

This the warranty for a CPO vehicle which would be included in the price of the car:
http://www.acura.com/WarrantyCoverage.aspx

The only exception is if the car wasn't a CPO and the dealer offered to make it a CPO for additional cost, then tell them to forget about the deal.

The Acura Car Care Warranty extends the 12/12000 mile coverage for the entire 7/100. Probably around $1000. It's not a bumper to bumper warranty as there are many components that aren't covered. You can check out Ray Laks for cost (Hondaacuraworld.com)

They told me the car is already CPO. But yet they wanted to charge me additional for the warranty. This isn't right, correct? Seems like they are trying to scam me.

If the CPO is included with the price, then why ask for more? If it's not included in the price, then yes, there would be an added fee. Check the paperwork to see how it is.

I'm pretty sure the certified warranty is only 12 month/10k miles over the original warranty. Are you sure the car is certified?

It sounds like they're trying to sell you a similar warranty on a non-certified car, or just trying to sell extra warranty. Were they just breaking down how much the extra warranty would add to your monthly car payment?

CPO comes with a 7-yr 100k powertrain warranty; you have to pay for the WRAP which extends the bumper-to-bumper to 7-yr 100k

I'll make sure before I sign on the dotted line. These dealers will try to squeeze every penny out of you if they can. Suckaaas

Yeah, they are saying the car has 7 yr/100k powertrain. Didn't say anything about the WRAP for the bumper to bumper.

That's what they'd be charging you $35/mo. for...I'll have to assume you're financing for 48months; $35/mo. on 60 months is highway robbereh

They are offering a financed extended warranty...CPO does not automatically mean warranty up to 100k.
