a couple questions

First off, where is the best place and cheapest place to get a CAI? and which is the best (assuming AEM)?

secondly, at what RPM is the best to shift in a 2006 5at when in manual?

thanks

There is no best CAI haha theyre all basically the same with a couple differences
mrheeltoe has CAI's too I believe?

The first gear changes automatically if it feels like it's not necessary and putting too much strain on the engine/tranny?, and the rest really all depend on how much you're pushing it, how fast you wanna move, blah blah..

Here are some links with different products from our vendors:

You can conduct a search to see what different members say about the different products. No need to spark a new debate on such a contested issue.

if racing, shift about 600 rpm before red and if you want to save gas everyday, leave it in auto.
