Computer Question
Hey Guys,
Since I am new I am going to ask what seem to be stupid quesitons - but I am searching first, so please bare with me....
1) When I had my Audi, we used a VAG tool, which is software loaded on a laptop to monitor and change the car's computer. What is the Acura version of this type thing?
2) My keyless entry remote will roll down my windows, but how do I get it to roll up my windows?
3) Is anyone in houston who can help me with that navi change in that recent post?
4) I read some good things about the tien suspension, what are your thoughts?
Thanks guys!
Marc

1) Don't think there is anything available yet
2)RTFM, unfortunatly you need to use the key. Hopefully someone will come up with a hack for double tapping lock or something
3)I'm sure there are
4)I don't have it but it's supposed to be good. Ask the dealer, although they may try to push A-spec on you since it benefits them

yeah, someone did actually modify the windows so that they can be rolled up using the remote. but if i remember correctly, you had to modify each window. too much work, imo.
there's hondata for reflashes & such, but i don't think they have anything for j32a series motors.
my brother has tein ss w/ edfc on his 2G TL-S, and i can vouch for the shocking difference between before & after - totally eliminated body roll. i hear good things about aspec suspension though, and it can be purchased for about 600+shipping on ebay - they're sold by acura dealerships, not some random people. tein ss w/ edfc would run ya about 1200.
swapp springs is the cheapest way to go, but won't dramatically stiffen up the suspension.

yeah, well, there's a difference between being able to roll up the windows from a distance and doing so with your key in the door. saabs can be simply reprogrammed to euro settings to do this. i was hoping that's how the TL was set up, but then i remembered TL is exclusive to north america where they don't allow cool features.
the front two windows are auto up/down. rear passengers aren't as important, so they have to hold on to the switch.
