Color accents for Carbon Bronze Pearl?
 

I've been wanting to do some more visual modifications to my TL (interior and exterior) and have been wondering what colors would match a CBP exterior. My favorite color is red and I'm not sure if the colors really match.

Currently, it has painted red brake calipers (as you can slightly tell from the picture below) that are slowly faded away. I'm not sure if I want to re-paint them read alongside some interior trimming or go with a better fitting color.

EDIT - It now has 35% tints all around (excluding windshield) and blacked out rear side markers (will eventually buy the Type S markers).
ps. for some reason i thought all TLs came with red brake calipers. never knew the previous owner just slapped on some paint. oh and the picture is pretty bad quality as you can tell. i didn't have any good pictures so i just paused a video and took a ss.

I did plastidip and gloss black vinyl wrap on all the chrome for the front grill and the rear badges, looks pretty good

So it's official.

the TL has officially made it to the "spray painted brakes and interior bits" level.

I assume the TL will start popping up all over Honda-Tech, in conjunction with the 25 year old, POS Civics on there... :facepalm:

I don't normally do red caliper when I do its on a stingray or CTS-V.

So I'm not allowed to personalize my car? Looks like I'll stick to the good ole' Camry and live like every other person out there.

I don't understand the problem. I paid for this car and I want it to resemble my taste in cars. I'm not lowering it so that it's scraping on a leaf, or putting teal wheels on the car. I never painted the calipers, they came that way. And what's wrong with me changing up the boring ass interior?

So please, inform me of what I'm allowed and not allowed to do to my Acura TL, since you're obviously the one who makes that decision. I asked for opinion on the color, not your pathetic ass logic.

If you repaint the brakes, please do another color other than red. Maybe black, silver, or even white. Also, make sure you sand down using a Dremel all the old paint and rust. This will help prevent future corrosion on the calipers and the paint from scraping off.

I liked the Teal ones recently but that was on a NBP.....J loves this color car and since he has YOTM he should have an opinion i believe.

i think burnt copper calipers would go great with this color car and match the amber in the headlights.
definitely get tint and look into the aspec kit.

i'v also been over dark wheels since 2002 so i would suggest a powdercoat on the wheels to make them hyper silver. i think that contrast would look great on your car

the type s rear sidemarker would help also like you mentioned!

my buddy chip, "themachine" recently bought a TL-S in carbon bronze and he painted his calipers with burnt copper from VHT (it's a high temp paint). I think they look spectacular and actually compliment the brownish hue of the car really really well.

actually, if I redo my current car's calipers...it'll be this orange.

I'm actually really liking that color combo.

And I don't really want to re-do them red as it seems like that's just the natural color everyone goes to. As for the wheels, yeah I'm going to change the color but still undecided on the color.

OMG why did you post this picture I just did my calipers in silver Benz style, but after this I have a change of heart.

Bimmitup don't change the wheel color I think they look perfect on CBP.

I can't lie...I loved the teal, but the burnt copper is very sexy.

The CBP in my opinion is a classy color and its become my favorite. So colors that look classy with it is what I would go with. Muted darker colors, the burnt copper looks sweet!!
