I purchased my 2004 TL in Feb 2004. I have had no problems with it until today. Today morning when I was driving to work, I wanted to change the Temp. So I hit the Up arrow....It would not work, so i checked the other buttons and none would work except the Last two buttons on the lower right had side the defroster for back and front. Nothing else would work.
So I started the car again, did that couple of times nothing happened.
Then I started driving towards work and after 10 mins or so, I tried it again and started working normally.

Finally reached work parking lot and changed the gear to park and turned off the CD player, and now I am not able to turin of the AC. Again the same situation, finally after pressing multiple buttons, I was able to turn off the AC.
So I tried to turn it ON again, and again nothing would work.

Has any one experienced this with there New TL's or even old.
Or does it seem to be a faulty climate control unit.

I would bring to the dealer when it acts up again...
Have not had that problem yet.

 

looks like you have an electrical gremlin. Take it in to have it checked out when its not working. Those intermitent electrical connection problems can be a bear to track down!

 

You have said or done something that pissed off your Navi, and now s/he is getting you back. Do not cuss at the Navi, do not push real hard on the screen, and no matter what, do not, I repeat do not, turn the Navi off. Give her/him a few days to cool off, say you're sorry several times, and everything should be back to normal after that.
