search is the way to go.... to break apart your headlights, you have to bake them in the oven for 20minutes at 200 degrees and pry your headlights apart and remove the orange amber peaces

over 75% of the members here have it done, and yes you must bake the headlights in the oven to loosen the plastic tabs holding the front lens and the headlight housing in place..

this link below is the cleared/blacked headlight thread and you will find the most widest array of styles...

I think his question was to avoid baking and just take out the headlights and bulb, and just take a screwdriver or something in that manner and literally BREAK off the orange pieces.

He isnt' referring to baking or anything, just whether he can break off the amber pieces from the bulb socket with a screwdriver or hammer or anything.

I wouldn't try to do it the "ship in the bottle" way. We have a chrome strip within the light that hold the amber reflector in place. If you broke this, you would end up with 1) a broken headlight, that 2) you would need to bake anyways to get the broken pieces out.

I would just fire up the oven, or get in on one of the group buys next time JnC has some openings. He is the one that did my lights for me.
