Clear diffuser question.

So I have clear diffuser, but when I put on the signal, it still have a tint of amber to it, my question is... can I change that to a different color and not being illegal? I live in New York State by the way.

Do you have an amber bulb? I would think your turn signal is required to be amber... maybe it varies between states but probably not. Rear turn signal should be red or amber, front must be amber (or maybe white?) Maybe try a red bulb?

Front needs to be amber, rear can be amber or red.

You can get led switchbacks that are white when on and turn amber when they blink. Looks cool and is legal....

On second read-through I guess the OP is talking about the front.

Oh and the reason why it still looks amber is because of the halogen bulb. It has an amberish hue to it.

I think he is using a stock bulb. Try either a switchback or a chrome tipped amber bulb. You are getting the reflection of the amber from the turn signal chrome area and its making the diffuser look amber.

Get them at V-LEDS.COM, they are on sale and use coupon code VISION for an extra 15% off. They are the 7443 model and there is type 1 and type 2. Type 1 blinks back and forth from amber to white with turn signal and type-2 just blinks amber.

You can take the screws out from wheel well and reach in from there.

your right, and then we could all put metal wings on our trunks and stickers of iron man running down the length of the side of the car.

In case you have not noticed we drive 30k dollar cars, not 10k ricer civics. if you want to make your car remind people of that.. go right ahead.

Fast and Furious... give it a watch YO.. then we can all go street racing with enough NOS to blow ourselves up... and the Fact over opinion refers to tangible situations..... not the personal opinion that white is rice...

you should go watch fast and the furious again
the cars all had YELLLLOW lights
no HIDS or white lights

in no way are V2 switchbacks "rICE"
they blink amber and have a slight delay then turn back white such as audi turn signals.
