if you want to clear your corners, i suggest you leave it to a professional if you don't have much knowledge of what to do, because you can EASILY screw up your headlights and when you seal them it could go completely wrong and your housing will fog up. so search for some shops in your area and make sure they are reputable and ask them if they will clear your headlights. some shops won't because of the legality issues. but good luck

Clearing the corners means taking apart the housing, removing the amber reflectors and then resealing the housing. No easy task. It will also void your warranty.
I love the look of it but would never do it myself because it is irreversible (ie you can't just put the stock corners back on easily) and could seriously damage the very expensive light housing.

If you want to see a nice corner tint job, check out Lokius. His car is gorgeous. His corners are tinted from the inside ddirectly on the amber reflector I think. Still requires taking apart the housing but it sure looks awesome.

Right.
Wrong. Provided you didn't break the amber pieces during removal, you could just crack the headlights and reinsert them at a later time. But like you said, cracking and resealing them is no easy task and you can do some serious damage if you screw up.

Not a Blowhole
The clear corner look can be nice, but it is also often a lousy "so 1990's" styling element - when every other Civic you see has AEM taillights, it is arguably time to reconsider.
I have seen great clears done on the S2000 front, however, so ultimately it is taste.
One other thing - I have heard (and recently saw) of cases where mods to the front and rear lights ended up in expensive lawsuits - in one case, the changes were determined to violate DOT guidelines, and the plaintiffs were able to demonstrate that the front turn signals were not adequate to allow oncoming traffic to discern the intent to turn. This resulted in a huge judgment. Be careful.
