why don't you try and get a professional detailer look at your paint. it's probably swirled or the paint has NEVER been taken care of (clay barred, sealed/waxed etc).

You need a detail, not more clear coat.

It depends on the thickness of your paint. If the existing clear coat is thick enough and there are no deep scratches, then a detailer will be able to restore the paint. If the clear is too thin (this could happen if the car has received heavy paint restoration in the past, which seems unlikely), then it will require re-clearing.

Take it to a detailer, they will be able to tell you what needs to be done to bring the paint back.

Getting a repaint is probably the last thing you want to do if you want to get the car looking nice! If you want to fix it yourself, head on over to the wash & Wax section and do some reading up there!

More than likely the paint just needs a good polish and wax!
