Clear Bra Questions

So I've been thinking about getting the 3M Ventureshield installed on my NBP TL-S but wanted to get any recommendations and or advice from previous/current owners who have experience with them.

I was thinking of getting just doing the bumper and the side panels. Is it worth it to do the hood as well since I would think the bumper would get the most hits with rocks, debris etc? If I should do the hood I think I will do the whole hood as I am pretty anal and seeing a line across the hood would get to me after awhile. Also, should the headlights also be protected or that something I don't really need? TIA.

I will never own another car and not have paint protection film installed. I recently replaced the 3M film after 50K. I have 50% of the hood covered including the A-Spec bumper, headlights and mirrors. The line is not that bad as long as you maintain the film and your paint. If you commute like I do then the hood will have to be protected cause rocks will find the smallest areas. I am personally not in favor of a full wrap cause I love the look of polished paint.

Thanks, Stephan. When you say "full wrap" you mean not having the whole hood protected?

I would recommend the bra. Rocks REALLY screw up the paint and the line really isnt that noticable.

My girl is paranoid about rock chips. She drives her TL-S 50mph on the freeway to try and avoid them lol. We just recently had her front bumper repainted and opted to have Nano Fusion clear bra installed. The installer did a great job installing it as it had to be custom cut for the Ron Jon bumper. You really can tell it's on the car. I would definitely suggest it for the peace of mind that you don't have to worry about rock chips anymore.

We went with the Nano Fusion because the installer said he used to install the 3m stuff when it first came out and then the Venture Shield but he said from his experience they both yellow and the Nano Fusion does not.

Been reading about the Nano Fusion but I don't think we have any installers around here (Northern VA).

How much did you pay for the bumper repaint and Nano Fusion if you don't mind me asking?

Paint was about $400 and the clear bra was about the same.
