Clean Scuff marks from the side of the car

Hi,

i have this bad tendency to hit my shoe against my car at the bottom, everytime i go in my car, so it leaves these faint black scuff marks on them.

I was wondering, how you get rid of these marks? i tried washing it off and tried wiping, but it doesnt seem to work. I dont want to rub harder to take it off, scared that i might scratch the paint or something.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Thanks!

cleaning scuffs on the side of the car

I've had this problem before on several other cars including my TL. This poorboy product did fine work removing those problem scuffs. Follow the link for more info.

Regular car wax should be fine...

1) Take shoes off before getting in car...

2) OK, more practically: I used a little bit of car wax (mine is Meguiar's liquid, but any wax should work) to wipe outside the rocker panel, where my shoes leave scuff marks. The wax is just abrasive enough to clean off surface marks and also leave a protective coating which will minimize further scuff marks.
