Yes, launching on the track is TOTALLY different. As Slow said you can launch on the street like a beast and go to the track and pull 2.4 60's. This happens to me sometimes. I can launch well on the street, yet when I go to the track it's completely different. The composite is different, it's prepped to hook, etc, etc.

Trap numbers tell more of a highway run, yes. Sometimes we get so caught up in what we should run (like me) and what we actually run. My best time is still a 14.0 though I went back after my exhaust and PnP IM. My clutch was slipping like an ice rink, yea yea, blah blah.

But I do know this...if I pull another 2.249 60' I should run 13.6-13.7. If I get anything in the 2.10s I expect 13.3-13.4 with similar mods as the TL NA record only with street tires. Yet who knows if that will happen.
