Chrome Body Side Molding

I asked my dealership if it exists for the TL, cuz it looks so nice on the RL, but they don't make'em.

So my question is if I already have body side molding on my 06TL Anthracite/Ebony non-Navi, is there a way to make it look chrome? I read on another thread about chrome tape, but they were putting that on the front lower grills.

Let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks,
m

The chrome BSMs on the RL are more flat and wide, which makes them look good in chrome.

I think the BSM on the TL protrudes a bit much to look good in chrome. I like a more subtle BSM look. The first thing people should notice on the car should not be the BSM. Just my opinion.

I'm sure there is chrome/metal paint that you can buy (from craft stores). Chrome tape might peel after several washes.

ya im trying to find out where i can get that done. I like the chrome on the TSX, how it covers the windows and on the door handle. Makes the car look classier

I'm sure if you really wanted to you could get yours chrome plated. It would be nice if there was an aftermarket kit availiable.

Just go to a auto paint store that sells the thin door trim in chrome. If it is thin enough you can place it along the top edge of the existing BSM. I hate the look of the BSM but that's what I would do if I were in your shoes.
