Charging cell phone & battery life

This may seem like an odd question, but my cell phone is dead and I need to charge it. I'm at work and I only have the car charger. In your opinion will it be ok for me to plug it up in the car with the key in aux, turn the radio and everything else off and have it charge my cell for about 30-60 mins?

Do you think I'd walk out there to a car that wont start?

If your battery isn't the bad one, you should have no problem. I don't think that little charger would drain off your car battery.

Am I right?

I've done it before, left the key in 2nd position for about 1 hr to charge my cellphone.
