sup guys im new here.... and i am wondering what you guys think of changing fog lights on my 07 tl to blue.... the fog light that on the front bumper.. cuz i noticed a lot of people mention fog lights but it turned out to be on the actual head lights so what u guys think??

you want HIDs? or just bulbs? Do a search and you can find people who did. I changed mine to yellow, but others have matched it with their HID color by using bulbs. And others have put in 6000K HIDs.

What exactly are you trying to do here? Just change the look of the bulbs to blue or change them to HID? If you're looking to just change the look, you can check out vinyl overlays for the fogs...probably the easiest way to get that 'look'. Search the forums for the username noshow_nogo and check out his fogs...he did the yellow vinyl overlay and they look great! I actually picked up a set of vinyl from him (he only has two yellow sets left) and I'm gonna see how it looks...not sure if I'll keep it yet. Personally, I'm looking for something different, I don't like the mix of HID headlights and reg. fogs. I think the yellow / HID contrast looks great!

For looks or for Fog?

For looks, I prefer Blue/White or Bright White. Yellow looks pansy-assed, IMO.


But if you're actually going to use them, yellow will be better - less refraction.

I'd guess that probably only 10%, if that much, use their fogs for fog.

Look at Nokya bulbs they can give you the color you desire without the hassle of putting in ballasts or wiring. I use their Artic White to match the HIDs.

Which bulb exactly did you buy. I am liking this idea, is rear that I use my fogs but when I do i hate the missmatch.......I dont wan't HID. Also were they hard to replace

well im guessing for looks... since at where i live there is RARELY any fog.. maybe like a few days out of the whole year? hm i looked thru noshow_nogo's thread about his fog lights they look good.. damn i dont know.. lol..

I used the Artic Whites and the bulb is H8 contrary to what the manual may say. Takes 15 min to swap out. 2 Push pins in each wheel well to gain access to the fogs on the 07.

Not as obvious in daylight, but still noticable, much better at night, they blend with the HIDs much better.

Careful those lights dont show as blue when turned on- as it is in the one pic- thats a cop magnet just for the color of them!
Turn them on that color- expect a felony stop- you face down on the street- handcuffs- the dog etc
big problems with people impersonating The Law-

no blue lights allowed, no flashing reds either oddly enough.
Those red colored LED windshield squirters will get you in trouble too

do it up man, it looks way better when they match and i don't think you get much fog in fullerton so u dont really need the yellows
