Changing DRL bulbs
Hi all-
I bought some cheap violet white looking 9005 bulbs just to see what they would look like as DRL's (anything better then that drab yellow!). Has anyone had difficulty turning the bulbs to remove them and/or installing the new bulb and since you cant see what your doing, your just trying to find the right place that it lines up and then be able to turn it so it clicks? I thought it wouldn't be too hard if you remove the items mention in the manual but when you cant see down there, its a real pain in the rear!!
Any advice/suggestions greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

There are 3 screws that help hold the bulb into the socket. The passenger side you can access with a short philips screw driver to loosen these screws then the bulb just twists out. The driver side may be accessible if you remove the battery. Just make sure you know your radio code before you do. I removed my bumper and headlights to replace these, it was easier for me.

Just use some good ol' fashion elbow-grease and it'll come out.
Granted it's easier if the stock bulbs haven't been in there for ages.
