Changing 07 Stock Fog lights

Im trying to get new bulbs for the stock fog lights. I really hate the stock yellow bulbs. Can anyone give a link to where i can buy HIDs or a whitish blue light that will fit in the stock fog light unit. Im not sure if its h8 or h11.

Google "Nokya H8 Arctic White"

Then find a price you like.

I got mine coming via Ebay at 19.99 shipped USPS Priority Mail.

Not sure about the '07 TL, but the TL-S Owners Manual and some fitment guides are wrong. The correct type is H8.

Well, I'm not a legal/law enforcement type, but I don't think so.

Brightness is similar to Stock and color of the Nokya Arctic White is supposed to be a very close match to the Headlights - a blue-white, compared to the yellowish-white of the stock fog.

Supposed to be pretty easy - remove wheel well lining, reach in, 1/4 turn and pull to remove --> repeat in reverse to install.

I think there are instructions in the owners manual. You can also check here:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84831

About 1/2 way down the page starting with the G-022 section.

I'd say "whiter" not "stonger". Here's a comparision (from this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148010 )

Anyways, I bought these "Nokya Arctic White Pro Halogen 7000k H8" bulbs off of ebay for something like 15 bucks shipped. Couldnt be happier with the look. They match the HID's very well, no more pee yellow fog lamps. I replaced the driver bulb in the pics to show the difference.

LOST my H8's GRRRRR!!

ARRRGGGG!!!

I am F'd. Bought the Nokya H8 Arctic White off Ebay a few days ago. Shipped the same day via USPS with Tracking.

Tuesday, USPS.com says "Delivered" but I got nothing. Today, USPS.com still say's delivered, but nothing in the mail box.

Talked to the route driver and she said she remembers putting the package on the front steps Tuesday. Had the kids check the shrubbery in case they got blown or knocked off the porch (I am not at home to check for myself). Nope. Nothing. Zip. Nada.

Some F'n kid probably grabbed them. No way anybody who'd take 'em can use 'em. They're in the trash somewhere and I've got to order another pair. Somebody was home all day and we didn't see or hear anything. FECK!!

It's not the $20 (well, it is a little bit), but the HUGE letdown from the anticipation of getting something new to play with. ............ ............

Will the 120W work, or is that too hot?

that sucks dude, ill be more angry with the money lost. Is like giving a present to a stranger that now is playing with your bulbs. At least you payed $20 I gave for those on ebay 35$ only thanks to the fact that I live in Puerto Rico and the shipping to this area sucks ! If for some reasons mine get lost I'm gonna lost my mind.

YEAH!!

I am un-screwed. I got my Fog Replacements AND I am not out $20.

Don't know how or why, but my Fogs showed up in the mail today. Maybe the route carrier was mistaken; maybe the package was mis-deilivered; who knows .

Hope to get 'em installed this week-end.

Stock is 35/55. I never noticed any of the Nokya H8's at 120W.

I *think* it's the draw wattage that is important for the car's electrical system. Beyond that, .

At the risk of being told to do a search, I need to ask a dumb question. I have a new set of yellow H8s to install in an 07 TLS and had a problem with my first attempt yesterday. I did a search and looked at ther various DIY instructions. I started on the "easy" side (passenger) and dropped the lower plastic so that I could see the foglight housing. When I try to turn it though, it will only turn a little... no where near a 1/4 turn. I am afraid of breaking something if I turn too hard... I am turning counter clockwise. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Look in the Owners Manual under "Fog Light Replacement".

You have to release the wire harness 1st. Then you'll be able to turn the bulb housing/socket. It took me (noob ) at least 20 or 30 minutes to figure out the first one. Had to do it mostly by feel. If you've got a shop light, or even a flash light, it should help a lot.

The wire harness release is on the back side of fog toward the wheel. It is in the center (not squeezing the sides) of the clip. Just push the clip "lever" forward and the harness practically falls out. You'll know when your get it.

Also, access through the wheel well as described in the Owners Manual. 2 clips and reach in to the fog housing/socket.

I agree. Same in person from that angle. Might have to do with the lens.

Hopefully not "dud" bulbs. From Head On they look good - apparent similar brightness. Not as much "throw", I guess.

Personally, I want them for looks not functionality, so as long as they OK head on, I really don't car about brightness.
