Centerline Wheels anyone?
Ok, since the BBS wheels are a little pricey, I looked at a few others, including Centerline. Their wheels are supposedly very light (13 pounds versus 22 for the stock wheel), and they look really good. Big plus is that they come in polished aluminum, so you don't have to go all out for chrome or settle for black or matte silver.
Anybody have any experiences with these wheels? Stories? Problems? Any input would be appreciated.

silveraccord - Thanks for posting the Centerline website. I'm interested in replacing the stock wheels, too.
If somebody out there has had experience with Centerline "Bright / Chrome" wheels, do they clean easily and retain their shine?
Does anybody have other suggestions for "cost-effective" wheel manufacturers that they would recommend?

My biggest concern is that they are supposed to be for compact cars, and I'm afraid the TL might be too heavy for a wheel like that. Of course, I don't understand structural engineering of wheels, so I could be dead wrong.
I want the Excels, polished, in 17"

Centerline wheels are VERY strong...the forging process produces a very light but tough wheel. That's why they tend to be so expensive. They're not indestructible, but for most of our everyday driving needs they're tough enough many times over.
SSR also makes forged wheels...again very light, strong, and expensive. Here's the TireRack page for SSR:
