so i was driving towards richmond and this purple mercedes ML cuts me off with no signal and suddenly stops! their brake lights didnt even come on...so i smashed into them. 3 young girls got out of the car and said "oh we are underage we dont have license i just took my moms car because shes on vacation" i asked for name and drivers license and nothing! they said they were going to pull over and talk about it but they got in and drove off..........i also smelt alcohol in their breathe.

Wow. I would've chased after them until I get some info. But that's just me.
Did you get a plate number or anything? Do you atleast remember how the car looked? I hope you called authorities for a hit and run.
They'd get busted big time. Driving under-age and no license--joy riding and hit and run? Show these girls some justice. Wait.. did I spell that word right? Justice..... seems right, I think.

I think there's a good chance. If you explain them the situation and they investigate it properly, you should win. I mean.. look at the drivers of the other car.
Are you in Canada? Cause I hope you aren't with CIBC... I remember the scandal CIBC had back when I lived in vancity.

Well I don't know how ICBC is now--but a few years back they had a big scandal for auto-insurance. Sorry for scaring you, if I did. This was like.... five years back or so. So there's been a lot of time for improvement. I live in Quebec now... so I don't know much about insurance in BC.

Good that you filed a report. Kids like this should get a lesson taught by the authorities, parents probably would kill them. But if it was a chinese parent, seeing they're driving a Mercedes probably alot of money and also live in Vancouver. Mommy would go and pay for their loss and everything and pretend nothing happened. Fucking families these days.

It's funny though, hit and run. It's you hit they run. lol

elkayem, I didn't look at the pictures thoroughly. But garages usually go for the cheapest route to fixing body work [in my past experience atleast]. If it's fixable, like say the bumper.. they'll fix it. They won't replace it. Some other things you mentioned may need to get replaced, or again.. if it's fixable and still has a good structural integrity I'm sure they'd try to fix it too.

Best thing to do----If you know someone, Helly, who owns a garage shop. Make them write up a fake bill. If the damages are actually say $3,000. Make them write it off as $5,000. =p

CHASE THEM BITCHES!!!

Unless the car is filled with 5 big muscle bound brutes, chase em... grab your cell phone, call 911.. tell them you've been in a hit and run, and you are following them .. use police terms (northbound 104, passing route 109 mile marker 12) or whatever.. the police will take over, and they will GO DIRECTLY TO JAIL...little girls arent going to run from the police. now, they got home, they're gonna deny everything.. and nothing can be proved unless you've got a witness (besides you)....

because, and i am kinda sorry to say, the probably WILL Get away with this. i had a friend in high school, rear ended a woman, he took off, she called the cops... and to this day (8 years later) nothing has ever come out of it... and the woman had his plate, car make & model and desciption...police went to his house that night, they had hidden the car in a different neighborhood.. .and that was it.. never heard a peep again

well basically whats going to happen now is my insurance company will track the plate number and send the owner a letter advising them the vehicle has been in accident....but i dont know who the driver is...they can say whatever....
