Talking Can't Wait !! Getting an '06 TL

Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself, I'm from Ontario (Canada), I'm getting my TL next week, I cant wait ! It has 60,000 KM & its auto

Few Mods i'm already thinking of are
1) 6000k HIDs (http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=1250 )
2) The Type-S tail lights from fishcake321 on eBay
3) And possibly some lowering springs

Congrats-those mods are a good start. Post pics when you seal the deal.

Good luck man, id recommend save your money and buy a full set of coils instead of lowering springs. Its worth the money, suspension is like everything else you get what you pay for.

I'm on the same boat as you! Awaiting for my TL to come through.

I definitely recommend doing LED interiors and HIDs / switchbacks just to start off

When i first got into modding my suspension years ago i would buy lowering springs but the drop was never perfect and after time the oem struts would start crapping out so i learned the hard way that taking the cheap way out isnt worth it. Bought my first set of coils back in 06 and never had a problem after that and it felt so good to have the adjustability and no headaches at all.

You'll regret those bulbs, you won't see shit, order set of ZKW-R lenses and replace the bulbs with OSRAM 66240 CBI bulbs. Our stock bulbs are pretty good bulbs, they're a lot better than the Morimotos, nothing will beat OEM bulbs.

You've got a good point, this seems like a much better route. I'll probably just save up to do this. Im guessing there are write ups on how to do it / people who've done it?

great starting choice for mods. I got the same HIDs from retro as well, I'm happy with them.

If you don't mind me asking which route did you go with installing them, through the fender or removing the bumper ? btw have you tried the depo taillights yourself ?
