A tire on the roof, eh? Geesh.

I remember as a child someone lost control of their 911 (early 80's) by my grandma's house. The plastic tail light piece that wrapped the whole back of the car, and said Porsche across it, was dangling 30' in the air from a tree. One tire rolled about 1/4 mile down the road.

Pill'd up driver hit a culvert and went airborne. Taking out half the top of that tree. Walked away. No airbags, targa top, no seat belts worn.

Sorry, he did not walk away. Rode away. Back seat.

What a dumb ass... The funny thing, insurance wont cover any damages he caused or his car as he was fleeing police! Awesome!

testament to how great our cars are in crashes. but seriously this guy needs to go to jail for lack of judgement and he could have killed someone.

If you read the blog, it was a palm tree that fell on the house. All the wheels were still on the TL. He caused a lot of damage.

Looks like he will be parting out those wheels.

Anyways similar story happened to a friend of mines. His fully converted Civic Type R was hit while parked and he tried to run away but his car flipped over.

I did not read all of that. More geesh.

The driver of the Acura apparently lost control and struck four palm trees in the 4300 block of Edinger, Bertagna said. The Acura rolled over and struck a trash can, which ended up in the street and was hit by a passing car, Bertagna said. A tire from the Acura landed on the roof of a nearby house, he said.
That's all I saw...

Edit: Front driver's looks like it is missing...

Disaster = Drunk + High Speeds + Residential Area + police aversion

He must have been driving extremely fast to flip over like that.

People like that should be BANNED from driving for a very long time.
