Canadians ! How much did you pay for your 3g TL ?
Hey canadians !, I bought my first car(07 tl, black on black) last year and to this day I still love it !(other than the anoying sub rattle which i had repaired today at the dealer) : )
What I paid for my TL was 45k including freight, tax, etc in September 07
Anyways, I was just wondering how much you guys paid for your TL both second hand and first hand.
Since most threads about this topic is situated in the US, Id like to limit this thread to Canadian Acura owners only : P

Real happy with my car, and the deal.
Purchased 08 T.L. (nbp), parchment interior, non-nav at the end of Sept this year in Ohio,$ 27,200, plus fees, but still drove away, out the door for $27,500 U.S. $.
The Canadian dollar was at 94 so it was great 8 weeks ago, however with the loonie at 78 cents today, it would not have been nearly the deal I got a couple of months ago.
My 08 T.L. had 7,000 miles on it, as it was a dealers loaner.
Nice car, splash guards, floor mats etc all included, and the only thing I've done so far is tint the windows, change the oil with pure one filter and 5-w-20 full synthetic oil.
Oh yes it's also been waxed three times.

Hey Babnik, it was actually no problem. I believe there was a $ 250 registration fee.
At customs I paid the GST, and when I put my Ontario plates on, I paid the PST. I didn't pay any tax in the U.S.A. since the car wasn't registered there.
The dealer was great and handled getting the 30 day temporary plate etc. and taking care of the paper work.
I did have to get the car a safety check, obviuosly no problem on a 2008, and a federal check which had to be done at Canadian Tire. There was no additional cost for this federal inspection, since this was part of the $250 fee.
I didn't have to get an e-test since it was a current model car, ie an '08. Had it been older I would have had to get the e-test.
Once you've made the purchase you can't bring the car into Canada however for 72 hours. You, or the dealer must E-Mail customs the info, ie. bill of sale, certificate of title, vin number, vehcile weight, etc
All in all, certainly worth it.

but we don't know if they were demo cars, leased cars, the store manager's kid's car...those will affect the prices; they can prices be negotiated
Mine was a brand new, TL-08 NHB. I got it for $40K all in. This was in September.

Yea i bought it last Jan. I use to sell honda's at mississauga honda. so i made them give me 3 grand off list. and on top the had a promo for any non-nav to have a free nav upgrade but for those cars which already have a nav (ahem -s) can get $3500 cash on the car aswell. so i got a real good deal plus i traded my 01 lude so that price otd included 7yr/160km ext warranty too....

Kinda what I did. Only they were clearing 08's out. Got the car for 0.9% financing, 4000 cash back on navis, plus my 2nd gen TL trade in. Worked out quite well.
