Unhappy Canadian Warranties & Prices

Anyone know why the Canucks are only getting 3 years and 60,000 km on their warranty, while the US gets 4 years?
Also, is anyone getting a TL Navi under MSRP ($44,950 with Freight/PDI)?

It has always been that way and I have no idea the reason. Could be we get a cheaper car here. In any event, the main car has very few pproblems, its more the powertrain you have to worry about and that has the same warranty.

Regarding the Navi, if I get the TL, the navi system has a lot of desirable features and I would get it.

It was pretty inexpensive to upgrade the warranty to 6 years 100km. Will add to the resale too I believe. Less than half what my Bonneville cost for the 6 year exrended warranty.

I am now getting the navi. Talked to the dealer today and changed to a silver/ebony with navi. Have to wait an extra couple of weeks but this will probably be my last new car. Retirement is coming up maybe sooner rather than later so I am going for the works. I want the bluetooth which you can only get with navi or 6MT in Canada.

The bluetooth thing is stupid. You should be able to get it on the base car. It would make sense if it was just on the Navi you had this feature, but why is it availiabe on the MT and not the standard AT TL???

Also, congrats Old Guy. Thats one smokin car.

Yes we do get the 3 yrs 60,000Km bumper-to-bumper, but we also get the 5 yrs. 100,000 Km major components warranty which the US does not get.

Hondas and Acuras have always been that way as someone else had indicated.
