Can you use the cargo nets w/trunk tray?
I'm thinking of getting a trunk tray, but I like using the cargo nets. Will they work with the tray?

Yes, you have to drill holes for those nodes... check those cargo net pictures...

The loaner 04 I have has the trunk mat, I kinda like it now that I've seen it, and I did see the rings for the tie-downs and wondered if you had to drill them, and it appears so.
Maybe if they replace my Lemon, I'll get that mat as an add-on. I know I want the side molding as well. I had originally ordered it with my 04TL but they forgot to put it on so I just got my money back. If I get a new one I'll have it put on.

It took me a while, but I figured out that I could do it if I cut an "X" over the lugs where the straps attach (I used a razor blade, took 20 seconds). The lugs pop through the mat and you can use both at the same time. I don't think that it is possible to use both at the same time unless you cut the holes.

You don't even need to cut anything in the trunk tray. Unscrew the knobs in the bottom of the trunk and use their sharp edge to pierce the fairly thin trunk tray. Works very well!
