Can You Hide Clear Coat Scratches With Wax?
Can you hide clear coat scratches with wax? I tried Meguiar's Scratch X, but it didn't do anything. I have a small inch long scratch on my trunk and I have no clue where it came from.

check out this guy on eBay...his seller name is "paintpens"
he sells OEM touch up paint pens in Acura factory colors...some of the pens even have paint on one end and clear coat on the other
send him an email if you don't see the one you want...his name is Ken and he's a really nice guy

If only you could have attended the Meguiar's class this past weekend.
In order to remove scratches in the clear coat, you will actually need to remove some of the clear coat. If it is very light, ScratchX might work, but you have to do it with the proper technique. The proper technique involves applying force around the scratches so that the diminishing abrasives of ScratchX will do its job. If you do not notice improvement after three applications of ScratchX, you will need to try something a little more abrasive. The hard paint on our TLs could make this very difficult by hand.
At any rate, this thread belongs in Wash & Wax. Since I cannot threads across forums, please repost there.
