Can a wing spoiler be replaced with a lip spoiler?

I'm looking at a 2006 TL that currently has a wing spoiler. The price is right, but I just can't get past the wing on a TL.

I'm sure it mounts differently, but does anyone know if a lip spoiler would at least cover up the holes from a removed wing spoiler?

Thanks,
Mike

I did this a few years ago. I don't think it covers up the holes. The holes will have to be filled. It ended up being pretty expensive, but worth it.

I put on a wing, sorry I did. The holes are up into the trunk lid and would need to be filled.

Could look for a salvaged lid of the same color instead.
